Encyclopedia Project

[metaslider id=939]

The Senior College Encyclopedia is a dynamic ongoing record of past and present life at the University of Toronto. It is being built using WikiMedia software (the same as used by Wikipedia) provided by the University of Toronto Libraries and hosted on their servers. Unlike traditional print publications of an institution’s history it is being constantly updated and augmented by volunteers. At present editing privileges are restricted, but it is hoped that when sufficient resources become available broader access may become possible. There are already thousands of entries all of which are easily accessed using a built-in search facility.

The encyclopedia website may be viewed at: http://sce.library.utoronto.ca.
