Title: “Diversity at Work: Uncovering Barriers to Inclusivity in Employment”
Abstract: Dr. Budworth will review research on diversity, inclusion, and belonging from the organizational psychology and organizational behaviour literatures. Particular attention will be paid to the barriers faced by individuals who hold historically marginalized identities. She will speak to research that examines experiences in entering into and progressing through various careers, as well as one’s sense of belonging at work. This talk will include primary research conducted by Dr. Budworth and her graduate students, as well as broader work within the field.
