Senior College relies heavily on volunteers to operate the Senior College Centre. Retirees, students and other members of the university community do much of the work there – greeting visitors, answering questions, proof-reading college publications, helping with the Encyclopedia project, making coffee/tea and other duties in support of the Centre and its programs.
It would be impossible for Senior College to operate and fulfill its mandate without the extensive collaborative efforts of volunteers, work-study students, staff and the Board of Management.
The Senior College Centre is looking for volunteers who value continuing connections with the University of Toronto, to be at the Centre weekdays, between 9am and 4:00pm.
The Senior College Centre is located at 256 McCaul Street, Suite 412, and serves hundreds of retired University of Toronto faculty, librarians and senior administrators.
